See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. – Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)
We are grateful for the new things that God has been doing and promising to us as a base.
One of the outcomes of His promises is this new website!
As a way of thanking God for what He is doing to us and as a welcome to you, our online visitor, we would like to present to you a poem written by our base leader Martin Baraza.
Let not your heart be troubled
Do not allow your action to be fumbled
Every day for a man is a new season
Cling on hope for this reason
Do not remember the former thing
However painful, there’s in the sting
Every trouble is only enough for a day
For God has already made your way
Don’t live on the memory lane of failures
Curtailing your advance with seizures
Let the hopeless hope anew
For their visitation is now due
Let the weak say I am strong
The day comes, and it’s not long
The oppressed will again stand up
And join the joyous club
Let all arise from the dust of disgrace
And annoint holy oil on their face
Because the Lord’s doing a new thing!
See you what the day will bring?
