The countdown had been long and sometimes seemed to be unending, but the day finally came when on a Sunday afternoon, Naomi joined us from Rwanda!

A few days later within the same week, Misael & Esther arrived too – from Brazil.  (😅 For a moment there was a mix-up with their scheduled arrival date, but Karin’s wisdom and insistence plus a collaborative team effort got us through)

Naomi’s main assignment while with us will be the DTS and evangelism.  The Barbosas will also work along the lines of discipleship and evangelism. Presently however, their main focus is to learn English and Swahili (especially English), so that they can better communicate and be even more fruitful members of our community.
